Susan Comrie - Fixed Operations Manager
Oregon State University graduate in 1977. Earlier years were spent growing up in Pilot Rock and Pendleton area. Sue has served as an administrative specialist for numerous years. She has been a title clerk for thirteen years, an RV and automotive warranty clerk for over thirteen years as well, and has been with Comrie Motors for almost 41 years as the veritable boss.
Robert Huntington - Shop Foreman and Certified Technician RVIA and RVDA (#107130)
Robert is our shop foreman and general mechanical
technician. He has lived in the Hermiston area for the last twelve years, and has now been with Comrie RV for five years. He's completed training with Lippert Industries in slide mechanics and Hydraulic functions, along with courses in Dometic and Norcold appliances with certifications achieved in both companies. Robert specializes in hitch installations especially B & W hitches. He is a Demco / Roadmaster certified technician and a Splendide appliance certified technician. Robert is proficient in all areas of RV repair; furnaces, air conditioning, general appliance, and structural repair. Robert is a conscientious worker a good supervisor and is intent on serving and maintaining good customer satisfaction and meeting their needs.
Kenny Keeney
RV Technician
Kenny has been with Comrie RV since 2019 and he's excelling at RV mechanics. He's highly proficient at anything technical where a wrench is involved. Kenny, grew up in multiple places around Oregon from Lakeview to Bend to Hermiston. Graduating from Hermiston High school in 1998. Kenny loves the outdoors: camping, hunting and fishing. He's always been a jack of all trades such as auto mechanics, carpenter, plumber, carpet and flooring, steel worker, welder. He's never worried about diving into new projects and getting his hands dirty. He endeavors to take care of customer needs and fixing whatever challenges that are presented.
Ron Dyer
RV Technician
Ron Dyer has been a part of the Comrie RV team since September 2022. He has a tremendous mechanical background and has a mechanical mind. He grasped the unique and varied challenges in the RV repair world quickly. He is certified in Airxel / Suburban furnace and air condition and is prepared for certification in many other categories moving forward.
Ron has grown up in the Umatilla County area all his life. He attended Stanfield High School playing football (defensive end), and wrestling. Out of high school Ron started as an auto mechanic and worked for companies like Campbell Toyota, Circle C Farm Equipment, to Bruce Heating and Air conditioning gaining a diverse background. Ron is an accomplished welder and general mechanic. Ron is a family man and has raised four kids. He loves motorcycles, and is also involved in charitable work.
Wendy
Parts / Service Department Administration
Wendy has a computer science background achieving her Associates of Arts certificate from Blue Mountain Community College and she attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. She programs in C++ and has a varied background in networking and other computer related functions. Wendy worked for Pendleton Auto Body for two and half years as the office manager. Her work also included work order dispatch, and parts research and ordering specialist. She earned Red Jacket level with Mary Kay Cosmetics, and was trained in commercial school bus driving, operating school bus under an Oregon CDL. She also has training and worked as a licensed CNA. She is active with her church (librarian), and she loves animals, (co-manager of Eastern Oregon Pet Rescue). Wendy grew up on a farm in the Benton City area and has now lived in the Umatilla County for the last twenty-four years. Her family farm raised sheep, pigs, chickens and rabbits. She achieved 4-H Blue ribbons with her Lop rabbits. Wendy graduated from Kennewick High School with a varied athletic background; track (ran distance), softball and volley ball. She likes to deer hunt and hiking in the great outdoors. She is artistically inclined; paints in water color, sketches and enjoys creative writing. She is enthusiastic and enjoys assisting customers in their parts needs.
Misty Calhoun
Recreational Vehicle Parts Manager
Misty has an extensive background in the RV industry having worked three years for Fleetwood Industries out of Pendleton, Oregon, and then continuing on with Keystone RV for the next 18 years. She became the plant manager in 2015 and successfully kept up the very demanding schedules of the high economic times. She is very good with people and was recognized as a great motivator. Misty is an Eastern Oregon girl from the very start, born in La Grande and grew up in Elgin, Oregon. In her younger years, she rode in the Elgin Stampede, kicking off her extensive athletic endeavors. The family moved to Eagle Point, Oregon where Misty played sports and attended Eagle Point high school. In junior high years she played baseball on boy’s teams and made the 13 -14 year old All Stars competing in various places around the state of Oregon playing both shortstop and catcher. Her High school year athletics consisted of basketball, volleyball, softball, and even track. She went to Nationals ASA, softball. Misty received a full ride scholarship to Taft College for both softball and Volleyball before going to Humboldt State in Arcata, California studying Psychology, on a softball scholarship.
Since returning to Eastern Oregon Misty has started and managed a restaurant in Echo Oregon, all the while she started both the city league softball and volleyball programs in Stanfield and Echo, busy girl! She recently slowed down a bit in life competing, only in Triathlons (swimming, running and bicycling). She snowboards, hunts, and loves the great outdoors. She has raised two kids and has horses, goats, four dogs, and a husband. If it seems like I’m bragging about her, you’re right I am!!
Sophie the Super Dog
Sophie, the night watch dog may look cute but don't let that fool you. She has all the ability in the world with blazing fast speed (faster than a speeding bullet). She can jump over a building in a single bound, and she has amazing sharp teeth. She can bite through chain link.
